ToggleThe Drunk Land – Game Rules
How to Start the Game
The Drunk Land is a party board game perfect for 2–12 players (teams are allowed!). Each round, players take turns rolling the dice and moving their piece forward. Follow the instructions on the space you land on. The more bars you “own,” the more power you hold!
What You’ll Need
- Each player chooses a game piece to represent them.
- When you claim a bar, keep the corresponding Bar Card with you.
- Have enough drinks ready to keep the party going!
- Players with low tolerance are recommended to team up.
When Does the Game End?
The game ends when multiple players feel unwell (nausea, vomiting, blackout, etc.).
If only a few players feel sick, they can be subbed out and others can continue the game.
If someone shows signs of real discomfort, stop the game immediately.
Remember: the goal is to get happily drunk, not dangerously wasted. Know your limits and drink responsibly.
How to Claim a Bar?
If you’re the first player to land on a bar space, you can claim it!
Just drink the number of shots shown on the space, and it’s yours.
Don’t forget to grab the matching Bar Card as proof of ownership.
Players who land on a claimed bar later must drink the same number of shots as a “toll.”
🎲 Chance Spaces
If you land on a Chance space, draw a card from the Chance Deck at the center of the board.
Keep the card and use it when you want—then return it to the bottom of the deck.
🚫 Penalty Spaces
Landing on a Penalty space?
Draw a Penalty Card and do what it says. When you’re done, place it back at the bottom.
Other Instruction Spaces
There are more surprise spaces across the board—just follow the directions and enjoy the ride!
Bonus Lore:
Alcohol isn’t everything. One night you’re rich, the next you’re broke.
That’s The Drunk Land life.
